Dipping Light Portable
Marset | Jordi Canudas
The history of the Dipping Light has only just begun.
The new portable Dipping Light relies on a battery to forego the cable. It has a switch at the base and, like the other Marset portable lamps, features a dimmer to set the light output at one of three intensities. Small but important changes to make it completely mobile. Metal base optional for secure tabletop applications.
For wired applications, view the Dipping Light Table.

Brand
Marset
Marset was established in 1942 as a family business, not making lighting, but as a foundry. That foundation in casting metals did eventually segue into lighting design, however, with Francisco Marset formally establishing Marset Illuminacion in 1965.
The decades spent experimenting with and molding metal translated well into the contemporary lighting industry: manipulating all kinds of materials to create unexpected, atmospheric lighting effects.
