Handmade in the UK our collection of terracotta lights combines the beautiful warm hues of kiln-fired terracotta with a subtle white glaze, resulting in a design that is at home both in traditional and modern settings. The three differing shapes can be used as single items or in rows and, for a more dramatic look, they can be combined with the other members of our terracotta family in larger groups and clusters. All styles are glazed white internally for a clean light output.
The Terracotta Large has a soft, organic-shaped shade and is the largest of the pendants in the Terracotta family. It is available in two glaze options, top glazed and bottom glazed, both in a cool white gloss glaze.

Designer
Tom Housden
Tom Housden runs a successful architectural practice, Outpost. However, he felt the choice of lighting on the market didn’t always meet project requirements and design ethos of the practice.
Housden went on to found London-based lighting studio Hand & Eye, where he designs and produces ranges that correspond to his vision of creating lighting that has a transformative effect on spaces and the people who live and work in them.
